Aaron Watson & Rowan Tumai - Running the Motatapu Marathon to raise funds for the Neurological Foundation of NZ.

Otago

Stu Watson has currently been diagnosed with PSP - Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. His son Aaron and close friend Rowan are wanting to raise awareness of people suffering from neurological illnesses by taking on the challenge of running the Motatapu Off-Road Marathon.

Most people may have family members who have suffered from neurological illnesses and are aware of the challenges they and their loved ones face daily.

Some of the challenges that Stu deals with regularly are getting dressed, speech difficulties, involuntary closing of the eye lids, impaired movement, not being able to carry his beloved grandchildren and his independence.

Your contributions to this cause will be greatly appreciated to develop more awareness and understanding of neurological illnesses.
