Move for Mens Mental Health - Mount Everest mission - climbing Papamoa Hills 40 times (height of Mount Everest)in 44 days

Papamoa, Bay Of Plenty

After going through anxiety and depression, which left me lost, afraid and broken with no foreseeable way out, I reached out for help from friends and family which saved my life.

I had to understand that asking for help wasn’t giving up, but is refusing to give up! With the help from family, friends and psychology I now stand as an emotionally intelligent and psychologically flexible man.

The statistics are alarming. Globally on average one man dies of suicide every minute of every day.

I will be completing the Papamoa hills 40 times in 44 days (the height of Mount Everest) to raise funds to support Movember, who look at mental health through a male lens, focusing on prevention, early intervention and health promotion. Working towards a world where men take action to be mentally well, and are supported by those around them.

It’s time for me to give something back and change the numbers to ensure a difference is made to men’s mental health.

Thank you
