Today I smashed out my 10th climb! Although it’s still a struggle I think it getting easier as I get fitter. The fitter I am I figure the less chance I will need St John ambulance!! Let’s keep climbing and fundraising to ensure that there will always be an ambulance service for us, because we just never know when we need them.

Day 6 and still going strong! Just when I think I can’t go any further I am inspired by all the other people climbing the Mount. I see people of all ages...some are huffing and puffing like me and some are running up!!!

Although it doesn’t seem to be getting easier after 5 climbs I’m sure it will!

I never thought I would be climbing the Mount 8 months after breaking my ankle. Thankfully I didn’t need St John Ambulance when that happened and fingers crossed I won’t need them during this challenge!

Wow I have discovered how unfit I am during my first three days of the challenge. I have had to stop every 10 or 20 meters to catch my breath but it is worth it for the views.

I am pleased to see that the St John service has provided a defibrillator half way up.... thought I was going to need it on day 1!!
