Fundraising for BirdCare Aotearoa

Auckland

Celebrate National Pet Day with us! This annual event is dedicated to recognising the companionship, love, and joy that pets bring into our lives. Pet owners and animal lovers take the opportunity to pamper their pets with extra attention, treats, and affection. It's also a time to raise awareness about pet adoption, responsible ownership, and animal welfare.

We invite you to send in photos and stories of your beloved pets which we will hang up around level 16 as a small exhibition. On Thursday the 11th of April there will be shared morning tea, prizegiving and an opportunity to socialise (since we all know we love to talk about our pets 😉).

Award categories include:

• Funniest picture

• Most interesting

• Best name

• Best story

• GOAT (People’s choice) – Voted on the Day

So, choose a category/categories to submit your picture to and share a bit about your best animal friend (can be a family pet, personal pet, or even just a pet that’s special to you).

We also invite participants to donate to our chosen charity! In recognising the impact of pets on New Zealand’s native wildlife, we have chosen BirdCare Aotearoa. Based in Auckland, it’s the largest wild bird hospital and rehabilitation centre. So, if you can please bring a gold coin or donate online to our page!

We can’t wait to see your best friends! Thanks, from your 2024 Graduates :)
