Nelson

The Nelson Women's Centre - Te Whare Āwhina Mō Ngā Wāhine Puawai - has been supporting women and their whānau for over 30 years. We are a community and support centre for all women and non-binary people, in the heart of Nelson, New Zealand.

We wish to reinstate our community Social Worker Services in 2025 and are seeking donations specifically for this service. We wish to raise $10 000 by the end of February, to cover wages and associated overheads. Delivering a social worker service (including overheads) costs approximately $75 per hour.

As a non-profit organisation we rely on external funding to support women. If you like to support us to support women, please consider making a donation here.
