We’re aiming to raise $5,000 to keep our affordable Counselling services accessible for women and non-binary people in our community — because everyone deserves quality support, no matter their ability to pay. This equates to 125 counselling sessions!
For over 30 years, the Nelson Women’s Centre has been a safe, welcoming space for connection, guidance, strength and community. Whether someone is in crisis or simply needs a place to breathe, we’re here — offering counselling, advocacy, food support, family and domestic violence assistance, life-skills workshops, a quiet library corner, and a warm, caring environment.
But we can’t do it without you.

The Nelson Women’s Centre is a community resource centre that supports women and children in the Nelson/Tasman region. The Centre hosts a number of low-cost services, including counselling, free social work/ advocacy and creative/ self development workshops.
