Type 1 Diabetes is something that affects our whole family … EVERY DAY.

Type 1 Diabetes is a complicated, life-threatening disease. It's a precarious balancing act on a very dodgy tightrope. Insulin helps keep people alive, but it could also kill.

SCSNZ have been researching adult stem cells and their capability to halt the auto immune attack that stops the pancreas from producing insulin.

SCSNZ's research programme has the opportunity to provide life changing medical treatment for over 25,000 New Zealanders with Type 1.
