Please help me reach my goal ... $500 towards SCSNZ's #givingtuesday campaign in November 2016.
Otago
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page ... this charity is extremely important to me!
Type 1 Diabetes is something that affects not only me and Tony, but also our whole family … EVERY DAY.
Tony and I have both had Type 1 since our teens. Between us, we've been surviving on insulin for almost 32 years.
Type 1 Diabetes is a complicated, life-threatening disease. It's a precarious balancing act on a very dodgy tightrope. Insulin keeps us alive, but it could also kill us.
We want to be around for a lot longer, being healthy, happy parents and role models, for our girls.
To see just how Type 1 affects us, please take a couple of minutes to watch our video. Then, please, support my fundraising for SCSNZ, on their journey to finding a cure.
SCSNZ have been researching adult stem cells and their capability to halt the auto immune attack that stops the pancreas from producing insulin.
SCSNZ's research programme has the opportunity to provide life changing medical treatment for over 25,000 New Zealanders with Type 1.
Please, show you care, by donating to our cause.
Help free us from this constant battle.
One Day, One Click, One Minute, One Time ... Thank you!
