Insulin is not a cure

Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page for this charity that you all know is very dear to me.

Type-1 Diabetes is something that has affected my son for almost 10yrs and will continue to do so…EVERYDAY...until there is a cure.

Coda was diagnosed when he was 5yrs old, it changed his life and ours so much. We all fear for our children's safety, but Type 1 Diabetes doesn't sleep, we don't get a holiday from it, ever, ignore Type 1 at your peril. Its exhausting, its relentless, and its not fair. A cure would mean so much to us... freedom from fear, restored health and the chance to once again enjoy the simple things that Type 1 has taken from us.

SCSNZ have been researching adult stem cells and their capability to halt the auto immune process that effects the pancreas from producing insulin.
