Okato Vets “Five Peaks Challenge” for Taranaki Rural Support Trust

  • All Set to Go! (3 am Saturday 4th March)

    This summer has been so changeable with Cyclones, rain and freak snow events delaying our start by over a month but tomorrow we are all set to go! The clouds are due to clear by midnight and we will get a full moon tonight too. We will start from Dawson's fall at 3.00 am .

  • Only 21 Days to go!! ( Weather Permitting)

    We are blown away by your generous donations. Thank you everybody!

    Pete and I were scheduled to do the challenge tomorrow but safety is important (we need to look after Pete - he has a lot of herds to scan :-)) and weather is looking too rough.

    Next window for us is 25th and 26th February. We will keep you posted.

    Thank you so much for your amazing support. We are overwhelmed by your generosity:-)

    Pete and I did a trip up to Syme hut last Saturday to check out the first part of our walk. Only 17 hours more walking to do from here! ( Might wait for the snow to melt first)
