$2,270 donated

Supporting people living with Parkinson's by competing in the Tinman triathlon on the 8th November at Mount Maunganui.

Waikato

My name is Martin Bennett and I have Parkinsons disease, it is the Teams intention to raise funds for the Waikato branch of Parkinsons NZ so we can get to more people who need support . We also want to make as many people as we can aware of the benefits of regular physical activity as one of the tools you need to use in the battle against Parkinsons. My motivation to take on this challenge is personal desire to pay it forward and its just the right thing to do.

Team Tinman thank you!  22 November 2020

Hi and a very big thank you to all of those generous people who have donated to Parkinsons. The Tinman Club has been in action for the past 4 events and the team has raised over $30.000 during this time for Parkinsons. We have had around 80 individuals participate in the events, some have been part of all four. The message of getting up and keeping moving fits so well with this event, maybe a bit extreme. Later this week I am off to Wellington to the Parkinsons NZ Hui where I will be able follow your investment. Cheers for your brilliant support. Martin & Team
