Training!
7 September 2017With less than 3 months to go my training is definitely well underway (training plan included a variety of trail races throughout the year), though not without its ups and downs.
I'm refining my gear - my gear decisions have always been pretty solid, but the aim is always to get a lighter pack given we have to carry it the whole time - and testing out new products in training, as well as training with a pack now.
I'm supported by Pure Sports Nutrition for this race. Their products mean that the 14,000 calories (minimum) I have to carry will be lighter, which helps.
Otherwise, I've got flights and mandatory paperwork sorted, so now it's the final training and gear testing and I'm off to Argentina!
