Pedalling Powell

Come along for the ride and support me, while I pedal my little legs for the folks of Kolkata. My commitment is to cycle instead of drive, as much as I can for the month of October. I will try and post some page updates during this time! A few reasons why I've taken up the challenge are below.

1. As a current flat-city-resident, it would be rude to not embrace a lifestyle of cycling

In Kolkata, India, extreme poverty and modern slavery leave little room for joy. Joyya provides life-changing support — transforming kids, individuals, families and entire communities. Joyride exists to create spaces where kids can just be kids. Where they no longer need to be the income earner or the domestic help, and they can just experience joy. Funds raised through Joyride will go towards buying equipment, running events, supporting schooling and youth groups, and having a whole lot of fun.
