Otago

Pete Mirrielees started Let's Go Fitness in 2012 as Dunedin's first intergenerational gym that connects personalised fitness and holistic wellness. With the foundation of Te Whare Tapa Whā, Peter focuses exercises on physical wellbeing/taha tinana, mental wellbeing/taha hinengaro, spiritual wellbeing/taha wairua, and family wellbeing/taha whānau.

From his years as a professional rugby player representing Otago and the Highlanders from 2005-2011, Peter learned how to develop stronger pathways for sporting performance, physical education, and group wellness. Following his professional rugby years, he received his diploma in Sporting Performance and now holds over a decade of personal training experience to deliver programmes that are life-changing for individuals.

As a local business and a community gym, Peter is helping break down barriers to fitness by providing customised fitness routines that lead to achievement and success. Through group exercise classes to one-on-one personal training, Let's Go Fitness is a welcoming space that is open to all ages and fitness levels to build stronger and healthier communities for the future of Ōtepoti.
