To Family and Friends of Ronny Franks QSM JP,

As you are aware ‘Our’ Ronny has now passed. The Franks/Serville family would ask that instead of buying flowers that you show your support through a donation to the Mercy Hospice.

This aligns with Ronny’s constant drive to fundraise for others and being selflessly generous. Your donations will help other families with palliative care needs.

Ronny spent her last 4 weeks in a beautiful room in the Mercy Hospice located on College Hill. It was amazing to be back here as we have had 4 generations attend St Mary’s College (located on the same grounds). The medical and support staff showed Ronny so much respect and dignity over this time. It was nice for Ronny to be in a Catholic facility where she could pray and remain hopeful.

The Mercy Hospice also allowed Ronny’s daughter Chrissy to stay in the same room and showed her compassion and support in her difficult time. So much so, that if anyone in our family needs similar care that we would try to get back to this particular Hospice. (10/10)

On our last day we had a beautiful departure from the Hospice with Karakia and Waiata. The staff lined the hallway standing and honouring Ronny.
