Please Help Jack and The 2018 Blind Cricket NZ A Team get to Australia For Their Tournament

Jack has been selected for the 2018 Blind Cricket NZ A Team to play against Australian state teams in Melbourne and Sydney.

Talofa lava and Kia ora, I'm Jack and I have been selected to play in the 2018 Blind Cricket NZ A Team which will be travelling to Australia to take on some of the Aussie states blind cricket teams (NSW and Victoria).

To give you all a brief background, due to a rare genetic condition called Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), I began to lose my sight at the age of 9. During a long 3 months stay in hospital in 2012, I underwent a bone marrow transplant which somehow managed to stop the disease's development, however the damage was done. I lost majority of my eyesight.

Whilst it has been irrevocably difficult adjusting to life being vision impaired, now at the age of 15, I have recently found a great deal of joy and happiness in blind sports, particularly cricket.. which has led me to this joyous predicament.

I am beyond honoured to represent New Zealand in Blind Cricket, but I need a little help getting to Australia to do so. I would be very grateful and appreciative if you could spare a dollar or two and throw it my way pretty please.

Hi guys,

A massive thank you to everyone who donated!

His goal was $1250 and thanks to all of you, we have not only reached it, but SURPASSED IT!

To give you all a brief lowdown on what you have done for Jack... the $1250 will completely cover both Jack's international and domestic flights, accomodation, uniform and sports gear.

AND, since we have raised more than expected, we plan for all of the extra funds to go towards Jack's travel and accomodation costs for the 4 upcoming NZ A team camps in preparation of their clash with the Aussie state teams.

To our family, friends, loved ones, generous private donors and of course, the MoleMap family... We are beyond grateful for your generosity and love for our boy, Jack! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Absolutely speechless.
