Plunge Into Life

I am on a mission to plunge into the major lakes of Aotearoa NZ in September to raise awareness for mental health and raise funds to support the I Am Hope foundation.

I Am Hope is a charity organisation that strives for positive societal attitudinal change in the mental health space.

I am setting out to endure 130 minutes of icy cold waters as a way to honour the over 130 young lives that were lost in 2022.

Currently, I am commencing with some volcanic North Island lakes: Taupō, Tarawera, Rotorua and Rotoiti and will then take on South Island lakes: Lake Tekapo, Pukaki, Ohau, Hawea, Wanaka, Hayes and Wakatipu/Queenstown.

So, if you or someone you know is struggling mentally, or even if you know someone you have lost to suicide, then make sure to get involved with this challenge! Donate if you can, plunge into the lake or come cheer your friends/family on by doing so.
