POLAR PLUNGE for GUMBOOT FRIDAY

One in four people will experience mental distress this year and the number of New Zealanders experiencing poor mental well-being is increasing. Our young people are experiencing problems such as depression, bullying, eating disorders, reduced physical activity, poorer sexual health, and low self-esteem at an alarming rate.

Gumboot Friday provides FREE COUNSELLING to kids who are struggling and losing hope. The counselling that is provided really transforms these kids' lives and gives them a positive outlook on life and their self-worth. But funding is an ongoing need.

So collect some sponsors and join us for the Winter Solstice Polar Plunge at the South end of Ray's Rest, Kaiaua Coast, on 24 June, 2023 and get them to donate to this page.

The Skinny-dip Polar Plunge is "clothing-optional." This means that if you're not comfortable running naked into the sea, you can certainly wear togs. We want you there!
