Porangahau is a little place with a big heart and we look forward to the big shave off at the Country Club on Friday 30 November 2018.
Hawke's Bay
In Porangahau we acknowledge that throughout Aotearoa our fathers, partners, brothers and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. Men are dying too young from prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide. We can’t afford to stay silent. That’s why we’re taking action in Porangahau.
The Movember Foundation is addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. This year the proceeds from Porangahau's Movember efforts will go to Prostate Cancer Foundation New Zealand.
As a community we will work together to bring change to the health issues our men face. We will try our best to prevent these health issues, we will come together as one and protect those who are in need. Porangahau is a little place with a big heart and we look forward to the big shave off on Friday 30 November 2018.
