PWP7 suicide prevention fundraiser

I am back in the ring October 17 and after a lot of thought into what charity I wanted to fundraise for this time round I’ve come to choose life matters suicide prevention trust.

Suicide is an issue that too many families are familiar with. I can almost guarantee that each person that clicks on this page has faced suicide whether that be a family member, a friend, or a story told by somebody. But I find that for such a serious topic and such a relatable topic it is not talked about nearly enough.

It isn’t normalised to have the touchy conversations, to take the conversation further than just “are you okay?”

Or to be able to say “actually no I’m not okay”.

Talk to your people if you are feeling like you’re in a dark place, you’re never truly alone. Reach out and talk and in the darkest of times please reach out to the organisations that are there to provide the support. In this moment right now you have the chance to make a difference to somebody’s life.
