Our mission is to reduce the rate of suicide and suicidal behaviour by:

Promoting suicide prevention strategies

Community education and support

Raising awareness

Bereavement support

Reduce stigma

Life Matters encourages and facilitates open dialogue in the community about the causes and effects of suicide.

We organise a wide range of suicide prevention training workshops and information evenings with relevant speakers as well as regular ongoing bereavement and prevention support.

Life Matters also organises important events in our community as HopeWalk and World Suicide prevention Day.

Please donate to help us deliver safeTALK suicide prevention workshops in our communities. Suicide is preventable if we all know the signs. safeTALK is an accredited programme that anyone can attend.
