We are almost ready to go….. Huge thanks to the team at Creative Sign Co in Paraparaumu for gifting us the bike signage. The bike looks swish. Only a week to go now, and the bike basically ready! Looking forward to lining up at the start line next Saturday…..

One of the final speed runs before the last round of modifications takes place. Three of us managed a top speed of 40kmph (downhill under brakes) which we hope will be a lot quicker with the four of us and some driver confidence. We may not reach the 80kmph we did on our single bikes, but we might get close. We learnt today on the crocodile bike that the brakes work, knees slightly hit the steering wheel, we have to pedal fast, and our heads go above the top, but it goes. The bike will soon be off to the shop to get its Wellington Free Ambulance livery ready for the race.

Our head mechanic James, has spent a few hours assembling our quadcycle... now to work out how to put on stronger brakes, better gearing, some comfy seats, and better pedals...
