REACH Child Cancer Trustee doing their bit to raise funds for paediatric Cancer Research

As one of the founders of REACH Child Cancer, I have decided to lead by example for our Be Bald or Bold event. I am not brave enough to Be Bald so I am going to have a rainbow dyed into my hair.

I have always stayed the same colour so this will be quite a drastic move for me.

Our daughter, Charlotte was diagnosed with cancer aged 3 and a half in 2014. As a result of this we have met many families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer. These people quickly become very important to you and it is devastating to see the impact this disease has on the child, their parents siblings and families. It is heartbreaking to know a child has a prognosis that could will result in them not seeing their next birthday. For the child, the family and all of us in this club we never wanted to know about not to talk about joining it.

So I want to raise funds to enable research into Pediatric Cancer. For Charlotte s future and for all our children's future.
