Alzheimers was something I knew very little about, I still know only a little bit about it.
My understanding of the way this incredibly destructive condition affects people - increased, sadly, when my wifes Mum became affected.
Alzheimers Northland are in great need of funds right now, to assist the vulnerable people in their community.
I’m going to “virtually” walk from Rangiora to Whangarei - a journey of 1210km in order to raise some funds for them

Only 2 days left for this Alzheimers fundraiser 29 December 2022
I completed just under 26km today and now have around 35km to go before I making it into Kaitai, of course there’ll be no fanfare as this is a virtual visit - all of my kms are actually being done in North Canterbury.
The funds will be going directly to Alzheimers Northland, there have been donors from all over the country, will you help me finish off this effort?
