Waikato

Reuben is the youngest of 7 boys, he is now almost 15 years old and still brings much joy and happiness to our family.

He is very blessed with loving parents who do their very best to take care of him in very trying situations over his journey.

Reuben had the joy of a relationship with a trained assistance dog Sealy for approximately 5 years.

Reuben's family saw the difference that it made to him and the way he interacted in his daily life.

Reuben's parents have seen the wonderful effects of a pet assistance dog for other young children with special needs, especially autism and epilepsy.

Thank you.

Mark Fransen's involvement (page creator)

Reuben and some of his brothers, friends and family are running the round the bridges race in Hamilton on November 13 2016 and saw this as an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for this wonderful organization.

Reuben's family would like to raise funds and awareness of ADNZ Assistance Dogs NZ to provide other children with their own Assistance Dog specific to each child's needs.

These incredible dogs cost $48,000 to breed, raise and train and we are grateful to the help that Julie and this organization has provided to Reuben.
