3,000km of Indian adventuring in a 7 horsepower cake tin on wheels. The Rickshaw Run is the least sensible thing to do with two weeks.
International
In April 2018 we'll (Jamie, Stephen, Phil) be travelling 2,600 km, from Cochin to Jaisalmer, India, in a race for charity - the famous Rickshaw Run.
We'll be doing it on a rickety rickshaw over two weeks, in the hottest month of the year.
Temperatures will reach 40deg and our rickshaw will have little in the way of air-con.
While it'll be a helluva fun (but challenging) time, it'll be a HUGE deal better if our charities get a good whack of support before we depart.
We have a 1000 NZD fundraising target for Cool Earth and a 2500 NZD target for Cricket Live Foundation - a great charity set up by a Kiwi in Sri Lanka, using sport to inspire those kids less fortunate than most of us.
In past races, teams have raised thousands by asking everyone to chip in 10 GBP. If you can spare that (or more) it'd be huge for Cool Earth.
All in, we are shelling out approx 5000 GBP to fly to India, and to enter the race, so please help us make it all worthwhile. It'd be greatly appreciated!
Thanks - Jamie, Stephen, Phil - Rickshaw McCaw
