Rimutaka Rail Trail Run - half marathon

This November myself and a group of friends will be tackling the Rimutaka/Remutaka Rail trail half marathon in aid of Samaritans NZ. This is a cause that has benefited me hugely, talking me down from my "cliff" during moments of crisis and giving me comfort that even though I feel alone, there is someone at the end of the phone ready to listen to me and help me through it all.

They are an amazing cause that helps so many people all around the world but as my mental health struggles have been in NZ, I want to give back to the country that has supported me through it. It's also a chance to raise awareness of the daily struggles living with mental health not just for the sufferer but for those involved in the life's of the sufferer.

All funds raised will go to the Samaritans NZ to enable them to offer more training and continue to offer such an awesome service to those in need.
