Raising funds for Maori Mental Health by rowing a marathon distance between four team members.
Canterbury
Thanks to Oska at Frontrunner Colombo, four of us (Callum, Carey, Luisa & myself), brought together through running and fitness will be taking on the Row Away the Blues challenge organised by the awesome team at NZBMA.
Winter can be a depressing time of the year. Not just because it’s cold, but because lack of community going outdoors and getting Vitamin D, the shorter days makes it harder to focus and stay on task. So what better way to change this than to train for a rowing challenge.
The event will be marathon distance (42km) and we have chosen to row this distance between the four of us. All funds raised will be for Maori Mental Health through Purapura Whetu
This event is taking place on Saturday, 7th September 2019.
