We are rowing 100m for every $1 donated to support and raise awareness for victims of domestic and sexual violence.
Canterbury
Domestic and sexual violence has a direct correlation to mental health problem for its victims. It is a significant problem in our community and with the National Mental Health week upon us, we see no better time to fundraise for a good cause.
We’re (Anytime Fitness Riccarton) collaborating with the team at My Fathers Barbers and the ‘She is not your rehab’ movement to fundraise for the victims of domestic and sexual violence and raise awareness in the process.
How are we doing this?
The benefits of exercise for mental well-being are unparalleled, so we have decided to promote the benefits through rowing 100m for each $1 or can of food donated!
How can I donate?
You can pop into either of these places to donate money or a can of food!
- Anytime Fitness Riccarton
- Anytime Fitness Ferrymead
- My Fathers Barber
Or donate directly to this link!
All rowing will take place on Saturday the 26th of September in the club (Anytime Fitness Riccarton & Ferrymead). We will also be having an open day where EVERYONE can use the club for free.
So everyone, get behind a good cause and we will see you in the club on Saturday the 26th. We will be taking donations until the end of National Mental Health week. All the monetary proceeds go to Aviva and the food will be dropped at the Christchurch City Mission.
