Run 50km for my 50th Birthday in 5 hours on August 6th to raise funds for Bay of Islands Animal Rescue Trust "Never ending story"

Bay of Islands Animal Rescue works with all domestic animals and does its best to find unwanted animals loving homes. They are big on de-sexing and trying to reduce the numbers of unwanted puppies, kittens etc. being born each year. They also aim to educate owners in how to care for and look after their animals properly. Bay of Islands Animal Rescue is happy to offer practical support, basic training and advice to help owners care for their animals. This registered charity is needing funds to help local animal owners with recent floods, de-sexing costs, re-homing pets, buying pet food, vet bills or what ever they need.

My plan is to run the 50km up and down the cycle track between Kawakawa and Opua on August 6th starting 6.00am at United Kawakawa Rugby Grounds and finishing at the Marina Cafe Opua around 11.00am for a good feed. You are welcome to join me if you like :)
