    WOOHOO🥳 finished the 50km run in 5hrs 22mins my pace dropped off last 20km, I can tell you it was HARD, and yes the 50yr old legs are sore this morning. Had a great day with lots of support. P.S. I did this to raise funds for Bay of Islands Animal Rescue, givealittle page still up until 10th Aug 👍🙂 BOIAR are AWESOME 🐕‍🦺🐄🐐😽

  • big challenge ahead

    just thought I would mention that i have not run 50km in 5hrs before so this is a real challenge for me. i did my first marathon last year in 4hr 11 mins and I can tell you from 35km onwards it's hard. I'm thinking the last 10km is going to be tough. your donations will inspire me for sure. support pace runners or cyclists are welcome at any stage. I'm doing 3 pigs half marathon on Sunday in Whangarei which will be my last long run before this run.
