Run For Love. In memory of Jade Hart and Stephanie Mainprize

Canterbury

In Nov last year I ran a 10k run honouring the memory of my beautiful best friend Jade Hart that died last year. I was totally blown away by how many wonderful friends supported me and ran with me. We also managed to raise some $$$ for Hugo (Jades baby boy) in the process. It was a beautiful day 💕

Since then our hearts have been broken seeing Stephanie Mainprize lose her battle to cancer. I wasn’t lucky enough to know Steph as well as most, however I for one will never forget her positivity and bravery.

So this year I have organised another race (The Run For Love) in memory of two “one of a kind” humans that have been taken from us far too early. This is a chance to get together, do something positive and celebrate their lives. The Graci Foundation was important to Steph so this is where any $$$ raised will be donated to.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
