Kia ora thank you so much to everyone that has donated to my cause! Every dollar counts when helping te taiao to thrive, and I know that your money will be used wisely in how it's spent and the impact that it creates.

If you haven't checked out Forest & Bird yet, I highly recommend doing so. And if you are between the ages of 14-25, they have a youth network called Forest & Bird Youth, which I would highly recommend you to join (yes I am a member!).

    What a tough day! 31.40km, 1,325m, 4h 35m.

Big kudos to my trail running buddy, Jonathan. Without him, I wouldn't have survived! The first 21km felt great, although my legs were burning. The day was hot and dry, and so I suffered from heatstroke and dehydration. The last 7km were hard. Mostly consisting of walking - so thank goodness it was all downhill!.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and supported me through this journey. You can still donate until the end of December. So please share my story and reason behind doing this :)

  • Today is the Day!

Today is the day I'm running 30km along the Port Hills! It's supposed to be raining this morning, so I'm hoping that it will just be a light rain. At the moment it is pretty windy and cloudy, which means that it will just be worse weather on the hills. But nevermind ... I have my rainjacket so that should protect me from the worst of the weather.

Thank you to everyone who has donated or supported me so far :)

    See you on the otherside!

(N.B. due to weather conditions I am now doing this tomorrow on the 11 December)
