Running for Waikato Family Centre

$287 of $1,000 goal
Given by 13 generous donors in 7 weeks

Join Lynsey (Advance Wellness) & Dani (Hamilton News) in the Hamilton Half Running Event as they raise funds for the Waikato Family Centre!

Waikato

Lynsey and Dani teamed up when they decided it was time to learn to run correctly. They both suffer from constant pain when running and wanted to be able to enjoy going for a run without dreading the pain during and after their training.

Since then they have been training with Advance Wellness podiatrist and run coach, Kate Caetano. By following a programme to correct movement patterns, release and strengthen muscles their pain levels are decreasing. One of their aims is to be able to run the 5km event in the Hamilton Half Marathon PAIN FREE.

Their second goal is to raise money for Waikato Family Centre whilst they run in fancy dress... as big babies! (Hence the amusing photo)

Advance Wellness Centre's involvement (page creator)

Lynsey and Dani have chosen Waikato Family Centre as their chosen charity for this fundraiser as they are a local charity that offers a free service to families in need.

Waikato Family Centre has run at a loss for several years now, but still manages to provide invaluable, practical advice and support to Waikato families.
