Fundraising for I Am Hope Foundation
Queenstown, Otago
Last night, I watched Runn, the Netflix documentary on Nedd Brockmann’s incredible journey running across Australia—over 100km a day for 46 days. His resilience, grit, and commitment to a cause greater than himself lit something inside me. It made me ask: What am I capable of, and how can I help?
So, without any training or preparation, I’ve decided to run 100 kilometers in one day. Not next week. Not next month. Today. I want to push my mind and body to their limits—and do it in support of something that really matters.
I’ll be running around the Queenstown basin, lapping the trails, roads, and lakeside tracks, until I hit 100km. This incredible landscape will be my course, and every step will be a reminder of why I’m doing this.
Mental health is one of the biggest challenges facing young people in New Zealand today. Too many are struggling in silence. That’s why I’ll be donating every cent raised to the I AM HOPE Foundation, a grassroots mental health charity doing incredible work to provide free counseling for young Kiwis.
This run isn’t just about me. It’s about starting conversations, inspiring action, and showing that we’re capable of more than we think—especially when we do it for others.
If you can, please donate. If you can’t, please share. Together, let’s make some noise for mental health.
