Running the Tarawera 50km Ultra Marathon for Hospice Southland
Southland
Hey Everyone,
I’m heading back to Rotorua to run the Tarawera 50km Ultra Marathon on Saturday 14th February 2026. After ticking off 50km (well… 52km!) for my 50th birthday, I wanted a goal that would motivate me when the trail gets tough - and this year, I’m running for Hospice Southland. This amazing place has supported our whānau with incredible care, compassion, and dignity through some of life’s hardest moments, and this run is my way of giving something back.
Running has become a big part of my life in recent years, and having a meaningful purpose will help carry me through the challenges on the course. If you’re able to donate, I would be so grateful — your support helps Hospice Southland continue caring for the people of Southland and their families when they need it most. Every donation, big or small, truly makes a difference.
