Having decided to run another half-marathon at Karapiro on Saturday 18 April 2026 (my first and only one was 8 years ago!), I wanted to see if I could raise some funds for a worthy charity. Job done!  19 April 2026

Thank you for your support and donation! Miraculously, I finished the half-marathon yesterday in 2hrs 40mins - the same time I ran a half marathon in Auckland eight years ago! Thankfully, the rain kept off and the conditions were ideal. Karapiro is a wonderful spot. Time for me to rest up.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform.
