On 27th May 2020 I lost my lovely Mum, Jean, who had been suffering from Alzheimers for the last 7 years of her life. I wanted to do something positive to raise awareness about this illness.

Running Update Week 13 16 August 2021
Hi
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated money to support my goal of running the Dunedin Half Marathon and raising money for Alzheimers Otago.
I am now entering Week 13 of my training and all is going pretty well. I am absolutely overwhelmed by the wonderful words of support from so many people.
At the weekend I ran in the Surf to Stadium 10k as part of the my training plan. I have 4 weeks of some long runs ahead, but I am more determined than ever. Hoping to raise $1000, every bit of support is much appreciated.
