My son was diagnosed a couple of years ago with ulcerative colitis , it’s a horrible disease that while it cannot be cured can be treated,
Hundreds of young adults are diagnosed every year with Crohns disease something they have to live with for The rest of their lives.
Camp purple is held every year for children aged between 9-17 who suffer from ulcerative colitis/Crohns disease in locations Christchurch,Auckland,Wellington in early January,it’s a free camp which relies on funding every year,
This November 18th I am running in the Kerikeri Half Marathon and would kindly ask for people to donate $21 for my run,basically $1 per kilometre run with all funds going towards Camp Purple ,
These camps have a huge effect on all those involved and require support to be able to keep providing for these children,
Your assistance would be much appreciated

A Quick thanks to those who have supported this to date with up to over $500 donated so Far.
