High school kids running for Ukraine

Christchurch, Canterbury

Hellen, Emma and Lucy are running the Dunedin Half-Marathon (21km) on Sunday September 11th 2022 to raise money for the children of Ukraine. We are by no means runners but have committed ourselves to this by training hard. While we are all at different levels of fitness we are supporting and motivating each other for Ukraine. Previously Hellen had only ever run 5km while Lucy and Emma had run 8km. Please help us fundraise for the children of Ukraine.

Post Half Marathon  11 September 2022

Hey guys! Today we smashed out 21kms and all made it to the end. There was quite a strong headwind but we powered through it. Thank you for the continued support and donations, it’s for a great cause and it’s gone directly to UNICEF to help the children of Ukraine. The money raised goes towards…

- Trucking safe water to conflict-affected areas where water systems are barely functioning.

- Pre-positioning health, nutrition, hygiene and emergency supplies as close as possible to communities in need.

- Providing protection from violence, exploitation and abuse.

- Mobile mental health and psychosocial support units.
