SAVE A LIFE

$250 of $5,000 goal
Given by 5 generous donors in 10 days

If you have always wanted to save a Kaimanawa but restricted due to time/experience/grazing/financials you can do YOUR part by donating.

Nationwide

Alexia and Mikayla, founders of New Zealand’s NEW quarterly equestrian magazine, have embarked on a journey to document an entire year of two amateur rider/trainers taming two Kaimanawa colts mustered from the Kaimanawa Ranges in April 2025.

Their experience so far has been nothing short of incredible, rewarding and truly humbling. So much so, that if they could take another, they would in a split second.

The Foundation Rider Magazine has started this Give A Little page in support of the Kaimanawa Legacy Foundations’ “279 wild horses, 279 days, 279 lives saved” initiative to save every horse required to be mustered out of the ranges.

If you have always wanted to save a Kaimanawa but are restricted due to time/experience/grazing/financials, you can do YOUR part by donating even as little as $5.

Follow the journey of the TFR Kaimanawas by grabbing your copy of The Foundation Rider online or from your local retailer.
