Save the Ocean! Sponsor Stevie, Jetta and the Belmont Primary School kids to do the Winter Dip in support of Live Ocean

At 8 years old, Stevie and Jetta love the ocean but are worried about its future - climate change, pollution and over-fishing are all a real threat. Live Ocean has organised an icy ocean Winter Dip on 22 June to raise awareness for our ocean’s future.

Jetta, Stevie, and the Belmont Primary School kids who will join them in the Winter Dip on 22 June, want your help to support the charity Live Ocean Foundation in its quest for a healthy ocean for a healthy future. They are asking that you sponsor them to plunge into the cold ocean for 30 seconds (at least!), and without a wetsuit, after school at 3.30pm at Takapuna Beach.

Your donation will pay for the exceptional marine scientists, innovators and communicators who play a vital role in the fight to keep our oceans healthy for these kids, and, of course, all the marine life around New Zealand.
