Help our foster puppy find her feet.
Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui
Sacha aka "Sha Sha" is our little Harmony and Hope foster pup. She's the sweetest little girl ever, but at the moment she's a little bit sore.
Sacha is currently lame in her back legs. Already, she's had one vet appointment and a course of meds to help with pain and mobility. She's also spent the last week resting in a crate to help her regain some movement. But, she still struggles with stairs, getting in and out of the car, and is overall a little wobbly.
Update Jan 5: Sacha is out of the crate and slowly returning to normal activity but possibly has hip dysplasia.
The funds being raised will be donated to Harmony and Hope Animal Rescue Trust to fund the cost of further diagnostic testing, including x-rays. We have so far been given a ball park figure of $1,200 just for diagnostics.
Thanks for helping Sacha 20 January 2023
Sacha is scheduled for x-rays next week, after which time we'll know whether she has hip dysplasia, a skeletal deformity, or something else entirely! Your support has helped cover some of the vet bills that Harmony and Hope Animal Rescue would otherwise have to try and cover from their minimal reserves. So, thank you for helping out.. we'll keep you posted!
