Shaun Tāhau and Chris Williamson are representing Otago Polytechnic's Senior Leadership Team for Toss the Boss 2025, continuing our long partnership with Southern Youth Development.

Shaun (Deputy Executive Director: Tiriti and Partnership) is responsible for ensuring the polytechnic meets the vocational educational aspirations of mana whenua, iwi, and hapu, while also being responsive to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Chris (Deputy Executive Director Academic Delivery) is focused on the academic delivery of programmes, while supporting and empowering kaimahi and ākonga to achieve success.

"Working at Otago Polytechnic we obviously have a huge passion for helping young people overcome challenges to help maximise their potential."

"We understand the difficulties faced by many rangatahi, and enjoy watching them grow and flourish when given new opportunities."

"Throwing ourselves off a building is nothing compared to the courage of young people seeking support and stepping back into education."
