Nic is turning 18 on 8th February and to mark that milestone I am shaving my hair to raise money for the NZ Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Nationwide
My son Nic has been raising money for the New Zealand Muscular Dystrophy Association since he was at Primary School; when Nic was 10 he had his first cookbook published by Scholastic (Nic's Cookbook) and a second book published the following year (Nic's Lunchbox). Nic donates half of the royalties he earns from the sale of these cookbooks to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Nic has been cycling since intermediate school and did an hour ride at the velodrome to raise money for NZ MDA when he was 14.
Nic has Muscular Dystrophy and he raises money for the NZ MDA to help them support other New Zealanders with Muscular Dystrophy and to help the MDA fund research and campaign for the best care for all New Zealanders living with Muscular Dystrophy. I decided I wanted to do something to support this great cause; to celebrate Nic turning 18 I am shaving off my hair. Nic's brother Toby is joining me so we will both have a number zero on 8th February. Please help us support this great cause and donate if you can.
Nic is turning 18 on 8th February; I want to mark that milestone and acknowledge all the work Nic has done over the years to raise money for MDA by shaving my hair to raise money for the NZ MDA.
Thank you :)
Thanks Lisa :-)
