I am seeking sponsorship for a head shave in support of breast cancer patients in the Nelson region.

One of my dear friends who I met through karate training is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She has been amazingly brave, coping with the surgery and the chemo and still training when the side effects allow her to.

Many of our dojo have shaved their heads in support of her but I was unable to do so being involved with a significant wedding! This has been celebrated and I am going to shave my head to support and encourage her for her final round of chemo.

All funds raised will go to the Nelson Regional Breast Cancer trust, to support women with breast cancer in the Nelson region.
