Kylie's Shave to Raise

$2,222 of $10,000 goal
Given by 17 generous donors in 6 weeks

In August 2016 I am shaving my hair to raise funds for CanTeen NZ

Manawatu / Whanganui

A new years resolution for me this year was to take myself out of my comfort zone and every idea I came up with involved spending money such as bungy jumping, sky diving etc.

I put some more thought into ticking of my new years resolution and the more I looked into the work CanTeen do and the effects cancer has on not only the patient but the whole family I decided that I was going to do my best in helping out the cause and instead of spending money, why not raise money.

This has been a huge decision for me as I am quite obessed with my long hair.

The main reason why I chose my Shave to Raise was because unfortunately a lot of Cancer patients do not have the choice of loosing their hair due to the cancer treatment. I am fortunate enough to be able to make the choice!

My aim is to raise $10,000 for CanTeen New Zealand
