I'm shaving off my dreads and donating the money to charity. I want to make it something special so please donate

Wellington

I've been growing my dreads for little over 2 and a half years now and they've gotten to be a pretty impressive length.

If I can raise enough money for my 2 chosen charities then my dreads will come off.

Instead of just giving myself a 'quarantine hair cut' I thought I'd pay homage to this time in my life, make it a bit more of a big deal, and give these dreads the respect they deserve since the two years I've had them have been pivotal to me and my growth as a person (Plus these things cost heaps to maintain! Sometimes your hair just isn't meant to be dreaded).

The reason I chose these two charities... Kids Can is because of my involvement with youth ministry. So many kids don't have access to simple things like food, shoes, clothing which is incredibly sad.

And White Ribbon because it's a great cause bringing awareness to ending men's violence against women, and promoting gender equality.

I work with youth and I hate to see any youth without the essentials.

Family violence in any shape or form needs to be stopped for our community to thrive and families to prosper.

I want to help with these things.
