Shaving towards a week of cancer-free magic!

Hi all, my name is Lisa and I just wanna thank you so much for visiting my page!

When I was 18, I started volunteering for Camp Quality; this amazing group of people who organise holidays and camps for children living with cancer diagnosis. Camp focus is on having fun and letting kids be kids - cancer is the common denominator but not what camp is about! I was lucky enough to be a Companion for quite a few years, providing one-on-one care to an incredible child for summer holidays or winter camps.

I currently have a toddler running around so haven't been able to head out to camp for a wee while, but that doesn't mean I can't fundraise for them!

So, that's where you come in! For every $2,700 raised, another child can go to camp :)

In exchange for your generous donations, I am going to shave my head (baby bum smooth) on my 33rd birthday (30th November 2020). In addition, I'm going to donate my hair to Freedom Wigs who make wigs for those who experience extreme hair loss. They actually purchase the hair, so I'll pop this in here as a donation too!

To keep it interesting, if you live in Wellington and donate over $20, you're welcome to come and cut a lock of my hair off (but you can't keep it!). I'll make a bit of a timetable closer to the time!
