This Nov 6 and 7th we are about to head out around Mount Taranaki starting at 2.30am and finishing hopefully sometime the next afternoon.

We are an all girls running team and are all about having fun, empowering each other and then giving back.

We will be running hard and strong, raising money for the amazing local charity a House for Karen

At Silk Spa, we wanted to support a charity that was local and had similar values to us. We felt A House for Karen fits the bill perfectly. At Silk,we don't fix people as such, but we do make them feel a heck of a lot better. Well, A H4K is exactly the same. They unfortunately can not fix people, but they do provide the most amazing haven along the Taranaki coast for families who are dealing with the fact that one of their own is terminally ill. You can feel the love in the walls of this place. Those precious last few memories made here envelope you when you walk in. It is truly a beautiful place.

BUT, it needs money to run, to be able to give families the time out the need and deserve. 100% of your donation will go straight to the H4K.
